Xavier Lee Lewis, age 1, of Portland went to be with the Lord on Saturday August 22, 2026 greeted by his cousin Kristi Noble Melser and great grandparents George and Betty Noble.  Xavier was born in Decatur on June 22, 2025 the son of Brentt and Tiffany (Woodson) Lewis.  Xavier was already a Notre Dame fan and enjoyed watching football with his dad and John Deer Tractors.  He loved playing with his siblings.

Surviving are his parents Brentt and Tiffany Lewis of Portland, paternal grandmother Linda Shull of Portland, maternal grandmother Shannon Thomas of Lynn, maternal great grandparents Dale and Kathi Thomas of Lynn, siblings Jameson and Everleigh, aunts and uncles Stacy Shull of Portland, Amanda Aker (husband Chris) of Portland, Natalie Shull of Portland, Brittany Lewis of Ft. Myers, Fl., Devon Woodson of Ft. Wayne, Dallas Woodson of Ft. Wayne and Brandee Toy (husband Mark) of Fort Worth, Tx. and several cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday August 28th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland and from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday in the Compass Church in Selma.  A celebration of life service will be held Saturday August 29th at 11:00 AM in the Compass Church in Selma.  Memorials can be made out to the family or the Compass Church.
