William J. Tullis, age 84, of Portland passed away Monday November 8, 2021 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland. He was born in Portland on February 17, 1937 the son of Marvin and Thelma (Coldren) Tullis. He was married on May 4, 1956 to Norma Jean Worth and she passed away on April 14, 2016. Bill was retired from Delco-Battery. Bill had been a member of the Portland Moose Lodge and Jaycees.

Surviving are two sons Tracy Tullis (wife Ann) of Monrovia, Indiana and Terry Tullis (companion Heidi) of Greenfield, Indiana, one sister Barb Wehrly of Detroit, Michigan, Four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one step grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean and a daughter Karen Meckstroth

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
