William Alberson age 69, 3204 East 400 North Portland passed away Thursday in Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Bluffton February 12, 1947 the son of Dennis Edward and Martha (Scott) Alberson. He was a retired farmer and Pennville High School graduate.
Surviving are one son Shane Alberson (wife Holly) of Bryant, Four daughters Lori Hemmelgarn (husband Mitch) of Ft. Recovery, Ohio, Linda Kunk (husband Todd) of St. Henry, Ohio, Susan Prince (husband Steven) of New Paris, Ohio and Misty Alberson (husband Tony Girod) of Decatur, one brother Jim Alberson of Albany, two sisters Ann Bussel (husband Bill) of Logan, Ohio and Beth Suman (husband Dave) of Decatur, Twenty one grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Rodgers presiding. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
