Vernon L. Adair age 80, of rural Portland passed away Thursday December 3, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Portland on January 18, 1940 the son of Marvin and Ethel (Lawson) Adair. He was a farmer and had worked at Indiana Glass. He was a volunteer Fireman in Dunkirk and was a member of Tri State Gas Engine and Tractor Association and Bryant Coon Hunters.

Surviving are one daughter Diana Bear (husband Josh) of Dunkirk, one brother Donald Adair of Portland, Three grandchildren and two great grandsons

Memorial services will be Wednesday December 9, 2020 at 2:oo PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Adair presiding. Burial will be in the Stephens Cemetery.
