Tyler Lee Neal, age 28, of Selma passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2024 in Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  He was born in Muncie on May 24, 1996 the son of Marty and Jennifer (White) Neal.  He was married on September 25, 2021 to Cathy Alig who survives. Tyler was a student at Ivy Tech, a 2014 Wapahani High School graduate, member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed gaming and fishing.

Surviving are his wife Cathy, his mother Jennifer Boda (husband Shane) of Selma, two sisters Danielle Neal (companion William Johnson) of Springport  and Mackenzie Boda of Selma, two step-brothers Spencer Boda and Devin Boda of Sevierville TN, grandparents Michael and Peggy White of Selma, In laws Ron and Lynn Alig of Bryant, grandparent in laws Jim and Judy Alig of Bryant and Mike and Gladys Ellenberger of Reiffsburg.  He was preceded in death by his father Marty Neal and grandmother Marsha Barth

Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday October 23rd at 11:00 AM in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Logsdon presiding.  Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30 – 10:30 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland.  Memorials can be made to Masses.
