Thomas L. Baldauf, age 83, of Portland passed away Monday February 9, 2026 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  He was born in Jay County on January 6, 1943 the son of Lewis and Doris (Pauling) Baldauf.  He was married in 1966 to Cathy Ferguson who survives.  Tom was retired from Marsh Supermarkets where he worked as a meat cutter.  He was a 1961 Portland High School graduate, member of Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge V.F.W., Ridgeville American Legion and enjoyed hunting, fishing and making jewelry.

Surviving is his wife Cathy, one daughter Anne Byers (husband Ron) of Redkey, Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter Amanda Jane May.
