Teddy W. Caster age 75, of Portland passed away Tuesday February 26, 2019 in Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio. He was born in Portland April 12, 1943 the son of Charles and Geneva (Duvall) Caster. He served with the US Air force and was a 1961 Portland High School graduate. He retired in 2008 from Teledyne Portland Forge. He was past vice president of the Conservation Club, member of Bitterridge Bow Club and Arch Bridge Kroozers. He was an avid car collector and die cast collector.

Surviving are two brothers Jim Caster of Portland, Chuck Caster (wife Diane) of Portland, One sister Wanda Sanders (husband Melvin) of Portland, Four nieces and seven great nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be Saturday March 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Smith presiding. Burial will follow in the Little Salamonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and prior to the services Saturday. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Heart Fund or American Legion Post #211.
