Shirley Blowers, age 93, of rural Bryant passed away Tuesday morning July 14, 2026 in Swiss Village in Berne.  She was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio on January 23, 1933 the daughter of William Henry and Mussetta (Lyons) Weaver.  She was married on October 4, 1952 to Jack Blowers and he passed away on June 25, 2015.  She was a graduate of Poling High School.  Shirley was a homemaker and babysitter having cared for over 350 children.

Surviving is one son Bill Blowers (wife Sandi) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and one daughter Judy Balu (husband Brian) of Willis, Texas,  3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by three brothers Paul, Kenneth and Darrel Weaver.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday July 22nd at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Doug Shoemaker presiding.  Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 on Wednesday.  Memorials can be made to Swiss Village.
