Shawn Hodge, age 59, of Portland passed away on Tuesday August 4, 2026 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  He was born in Portland on January 30, 1967 the son of Thomas and Debbie (Grayson) Hodge.  Shawn was a 1985 Jay County High School graduate.

Surviving is his mother Debbie Hodge of Portland, one sister Jennifer Murphy (husband Robert) of Chatsworth, Georgia, two brothers Tommy Hodge of Portland and Shane Hodge of Portland.  He was preceded in death by his father Tom Hodge and brother Richard Hall.

There will be no funeral services.  Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
