Shannon Lin Monnot, age 45, of rural Geneva passed away on Friday August 21, 2026 at her residence.  She was born in Florida on June 17, 1981 the daughter of Kevin Huss and Bobbi Monnot.  She was a homemaker and attended Bluffton High School.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts and going to garage sales.

Surviving are her longtime companion Brad Caster of Geneva, two sons Skyelar Caster and Hardin Caster both of Geneva, two daughters Hannah Hardwick (husband Matthew) of Portland and Serenity Southard of Liberty Center, her father Kevin Huss (Patty) of Montpelier, mother Bobbi Monnot of Portland, grandfather Ronald Monnot of Ossian, grandmother Linda Glick of Florida, brother Zachary Monnot of Portland, sister Skye Speece (husband Jason) of Montpelier, Five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday August 26th in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland.  Memorials can be made to Baird-Freeman Funeral Home to help with expences.
