Sarah E. Overmeyer age 90 passed away Sunday at Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland. She was born in Kentucky February 28, 1926 the daughter of John and Marjorie (Burk) Brock. She was married to Jack Overmeyer and he died in 2011. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons Doug Sheets of Portland, Sandy Landfair of Wooster, Ohio and Steve Landfair of Wooster, Ohio, four daughters Brenda Armstrong of Portland, Linda Alday of Portland, Candy Armstrong of Portland and Teresa Turpin of Portland, one sister Phyllis Bolin of Portland, Twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. In the Green Park Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Jeff Horsman presiding. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. In the chapel. Memorials can be made to Jay County Humane Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
