Samy Bunch age 74, 101 South Francis Street Bryant passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in Tennessee November 13, 1941 the son of Robert and Pearl (Ward) Bunch. He was married January 5, 1963 to Ruthanne Shirk who survives. He was a truck driver and also painted semi tractors.
Surviving are his wife Ruthanne, one step-son Tim Brotherton (wife Carla) of Portland, three daughter Joyce Duke of Portland, Anita Foudray of Burlington, Ky. And Beth Longworth (husband Larry) of Winchester, one brother James Bunch of Tennessee, four sisters Liz Byrge of Dunkirk, Kathy Jones of Dunkirk, Reda Burress of Straight Fork, TN. And Roxie Thompson of Biloxi, Ms. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Christina Bunch.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 P.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Paul VanCise presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
