Samantha Kaye Pinkston age 28, Piedmont Apartments Portland passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Portland October 30, 1988 the daughter of Samuel L. Pinkston and Lisa Denney. She was a member of the River of Life Church.
Surviving are her father Samuel Pinkston (wife Tamme) of Muncie, her mother Lisa Buckner (husband Robbie) of Portland, daughter Willow McCallister of Portland, two sisters Brittany Pinkston of Redkey and Stacie Pinkston of Pendleton, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Paula Hunnicut presiding. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Dunkirk. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 – 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
