It is with great sadness that the family of Sally Weaver announces her passing on Thursday July 20, 2017 at Parkview North Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne June 2, 1978 the daughter of Larry and Pamela (Haffner) Weaver. She graduated from Jay County High School in 1997, Indiana University in 2001, Cooley Law School in 2006 and Veterinary Technician School in 2008. She worked as a veterniary technician at Lynn Veternary Hospital. She was a licensed lawyer and member of the American Bar Association and Veternary Technician Association.
She followed her true passion and began caring for animals at the Lynn Vet Clinic in 2008. Sally was a friend and mentor to all who knew her. She was compassionate and caring for everyone and drew satisfaction from helping others in any way she could. She was extremely artistic in designing various crafts and arrangements. She loved spending time with family and her beloved dog of 16 years, Bugsy.
She will be sadly missed by her parents Larry and Pamela Weaver of Portland, her twin brother Philip Weaver of Roann, IN, and her sister Sarah Keith of Mount Prospect, IL. She was a fun and loving aunt to five nephews and two nieces.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Southside Church of Christ with Pastor Flint Redwine presiding. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to the family. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
