Ruthanne Bunch age 79, of Bryant passed away Sunday morning September 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Jay County January 7, 1940 the daughter of Ivan and Gladys (Miller) Shirk. She was married to Donald Max Brotherton who passed away in 1960. On January 5, 1963 she married Samy Bunch and he died March 19, 2016. She was a homemaker and a 1958 graduate of Portland High School.

Surviving are one son Tim Brotherton of Portland, two daughters Anita Foudray of Burlington, Kentucky and Beth Longworth (husband Larry) of Winchester, Step-daughter Joyce Duke of Portland, sister Linda Byrum of Portland, speicial caregiver Tacaria Brotheron, Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Christina Bunch.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
