Ruth Ann Sain, age 89, of Portland passed away Sunday February 8, 2026 in The Waters of Dunkirk.  She was born in Whiteheath, Illinois on December 31, 1936 the daughter of Dallas and Irma (Wilky) Bebe.  Ruth was a cook at the Portland Country Club for several years.

Surviving is two sons Darren Sain (wife LaDonna) of Portland and Curtis Sain (wife Cindy) of Phoenix, Indiana, one daughter Becky Williams of Anderson, Nine grandchildren, Eighteen Great grandchildren with one on the way and Six Great great grandchildren.  There will be no funeral services.  Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
