Ron Garlinger age 51, 701 South Western Ave. Portland passed away Monday at his residence. He was born in Portland May 11, 1966 the son of Tom and Kathryn (Ingle) Garlinger. He had worked at FCC, Key Fastener, Car Quest, Como Service and was a mechanic. He was a 1984 Jay County High School graduate and was known as the golf cart guy.

Surviving are his mother Kathryn Garlinger of Portland, one son Kyle Garlinger of Portland, one daughter Katie Masters (husband Wil) of Redkey, sister Lisa Ellis of Portland, two grandchildren Alylah Garlinger and Grayson Holdstock.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Morgan presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Friday. Memorials can be made to the family.
