Roger C. Geesaman, age 74, of Portland passed  away on  Wednesday April 22, 2026 in Delaware County.  He was born in Portland on January 17, 1952 the son of Carl and Marceil (Caylor) Geesaman. We take peace in knowing that now he is reunited with his wife, Cheryl, who passed away on May 8, 2020.  They were married on May 9, 1992.  Roger had worked for FCC in Portland, Butterfield Foods in Pennville, Co-owner of Dick's Pizza in Portland. His passion was coon hunting and being a member of Limberlost Coon Hunters Club.  He loved auctioneering and worked with Ingle Reality for many years. He was a 1970 Pennville High School graduate. His greatest joys in life were his grandkids who he loved dearly.

Surviving is three daughters Jessica Casullo (husband Vito) of Morning View, Kentucky, Kati Geesaman (fiancé Brannon Shortt) of Portland and Cara Dunnington (husband Tyler) of Portland, two sons Josh Gibson (wife Kristen) of Portland and Tony Minch (fiancé Alicia Peterson) of Portland, one brother Doug Geesaman (wife Donna) of Pennville and one sister Shirley Blount (husband Jim) of Portland, Ten grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister Linda Franks.

Funeral services will be Tuesday April 28th at 5:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.  Memorials can be made to Cheryl Geesaman Scholarship through the Portland Foundation.
