Robert Spillman age 72, of Portland passed away Friday January 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 12, 1947 in Michigan City, Indiana the son of Earl and Betty (Maple) Spillman. He was retired from Tyson Foods in Portland. He enjoyed fishing and going on bicycle rides.

Surviving are three brothers Tim Maple (wife Cherrie) of Portland, Bill Maple of New Castle and Tommy Maple of Frankfort, Two sisters Lisa Spillman (husband Pete) of Portland and Sue Patton of Crawfordsville, Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Ronna Spillman.

Funeral services will be Wednesday January 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Smith presiding. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories in Muncie. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 on Wednesday. Memorials can be made to Jay Randolph Developmental Services.
