Richard Williams age 82, of Decatur passed away early Wednesday at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne. He was born in Portland August 14, 1935 the son of Howard and Ettie (Ashley) Williams. He was married June 4, 1960 to Helen Haines who survives. He had worked as a tow motor operator for Naas Foods.

Surviving are his wife Helen, one daughter Amy Coyne (husband Christopher) of Decatur, one brother Doyle Williams of Portland and two granddaughters Ella and Hannah Coyne.

Celebration of Life services will be Friday at 6:00 PM in the New Life Ministries in Portland with Pastor Kay Fairchild presiding. The family will meet with guest after the service till 8:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
