Reginald B. Hampson age 95, 114 Pilgrim Drive Portland passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Portland on November 2, 1922 the son of William and Thelma (Bell) Hampson. He was married October 18, 1952 to Nelle Maxwell who passed away March 13, 2017. He had worked as a Foreman at the Portland Forge and farmed. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, Portland Elks, Portland Moose, Portland Country Club and he was a 1940 graduate of Gray High School.

Surviving are his son, Bill (Lynn) Hampson of Portland, his daughter Lee Hampson of Austin, TX. and one grandson Jack.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Allison Yankey presiding. Burial will be in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the Portland Foundation for the Reg and Nell Hampson Scholorship Fund.
