Rebecca Jayne Lewis, age 66, of rural Portland passed away on Sunday October 6, 2024 in IU Health Jay County Hospital.  She was born in Winchester on August 9, 1958 the daughter of Arthur and Martha "Pat" (Fields) Harris.  Rebecca had worked at CTS and Hartzells and was a 1976 Jay County High School graduate. She collected old rock and roll albums and was an avid reader.

Surviving are two daughters Brittany Lewis of Ft. Myers, Florida and Ryah Burroughs of Portland, her mother Martha "Pat" Harris of Portland,  three brothers Larry Harris of Chicago, Ron Harris of Portland and Jim Harris of Rossville, In., three grandchildren Alex, Arthur and Andrew.   She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Harris.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
