Paul Daniel Rogers age 40 of rural Redkey passed away Saturday morning in IU Jay County Hospital. He was born in Muncie November 28, 1977 the son of Jerry Rogers and Ruth McIntire. He worked for FCC in Berne and was a journeyman electrician and member of IEBW Electrical Union. He served in the US Marine Corp and was a 1997 Jay County High School graduate.

Surviving are his daughter Lilly Rogers of Redkey, father and step-mother Jerry and Kelly Rogers of Redkey, Mother Ruth Paul of Ft. Myers, FL., Three brothers Christopher Rogers (wife Kaitlyn) of Muncie, James Rogers (wife Jill) of Keystone and Matthew Rogers (wife Alicia) of Alcoa, TN., Three sisters Katherine Berkey (husband Mark) of Ft. Wayne, Kristin Seiter (husband Paul) of Redkey and Angela Rogers of Redkey, Cousin David McIntire of Greenwood and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Davis presiding. Burial will follow in Bluff Point Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post #211. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Brianna's Hope.
