Norman Priest age 88, 2030 South Lutes Central Drive Portland passed away Tuesday in the Albany Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born in Portland October 31, 1927 the son of Howard and Pearla (Sphoon) Priest. He was married April 20, 1947 too Gladys Helen Philabaum and she passed away September 9, 2015. He was manager of Cline-Wilt Lumber Company in Portland and was a member of Portland Kiwanis Club, Jay Lodge #87 F&AM and Redkey Faith Ministries.
Surviving are his daughter Karen Saxman of Portland, two granddaughters Mrs. Ray (Cindy) Newton of Portland and Mrs. Robert (Jodi) Lahmann of Glenwood, Maryland , seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Hines presiding. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories in Muncie. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to the Albany Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
