Norman Lee Karn, age 82, of rural Portland, passed away on Wednesday October 20 ^th , 2021 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. Norman was born in Niles, Michigan on December 4 ^th , 1938 the son of Franklin Karn and Lois (Krassol) Karn. He was married on August 18 ^th , 1962 to Patricia Micheau who survives. Norman is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Indiana Glass in Dunkirk, Indiana. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years Patricia, three sons Kris Karn (wife Brenda) of Portland, Kelly Karn of Clovis, New Mexico and Kraig Karn (wife Shirley) of Portland, One Daughter Kristen Sager (husband Charles) of Redkey, one brother Karl Karn of Fort Wayne, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 o'clock on Tuesday October 26 ^th , 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Matthew Arbuckle officiating. A visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 pm in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the Diabetes Association.
