Norma Jean Tullis age 78, 114 Bittersweet Lane Portland passed away Thursday at her residence. She was born in Bryant January 2, 1938 the daughter of Arthur Wendel and Ersie May (Rohrer) Worth. She was married May 4, 1956 to William J. Tullis who survives. She was a 1956 Poling High School graduate and retired from Jay Products in Portland.
Surviving are her husband Bill, two sons Tracy Tullis (wife Ann) of Indianapolis and Terry Tullis (companion Heidi) of Greenfield, one daughter Mrs. Karen Tullis Meckstroth (husband Allan) of Portland, two brother Lester Worth of Ohio and John Worth of Michigan, two sisters Viera Middaugh of Indiana and Mary Boozier of Portland, sister in law Barb Wehrly of Michigan, four grandchildren Kia Ann (McKee) Baughn, Trevor Scott Tullis, Taylor Michael Tullis and Kerri Jo Adair, Eight great grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
Services will be held at a later date. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of services. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Jay County Cancer Society.
