Norma A. Haffner, age 98, of Yorktown, Indiana passed away on Thursday August 7, 2025 in Cardinal Care Strategies in Muncie.  She was born in Jay County on May 21, 1927 the daughter of Wilson and Abbie (Lee) Glentzer.  She was married on June 13, 1948 to Fred Haffner and he passed away on August 11, 2011.  Norma was an elementary school teacher at Liberty Perry Schools in Selma.  She had attended Westside Church of Christ.

Surviving is one son David Haffner (wife Jerrie) of Nashville, TN., two daughters Carol Myers (husband John) of Muncie and Beth Rompilla of Nashville, TN.  Nine grandchildren, Sixteen great grandchildren and Five great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by nine siblings and one grandson.

Private funeral services will be held.  Burial will be in the Limberlost Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to Choice of the donor.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland are handling the arrangements.
