Noah Teeter age 71 of rural Portland passed away Tuesday in the IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Bluffton March 7, 1946 the son of Dave and Nellie (Brock) Teeter. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was married in 1979 to Tracy Gilbert who survives. He was a plumber for Aker Plumbing in Portland and also had worked at Hartzell Fan, Jay Products and FCC.
Surviving are his wife Tracy, two sons Noah Wesley Teeter of Portland and Joshua Noah Teeter of Portland, three daughters Lauranna Teeter of Portland, Delisa June Anderson of Portland and Kandi Sue Smith of Portland, two brothers Jessie Hicks of Yuma, Arizona and Greg Gierhart of Florida, four sisters Zondra Hall of Grayson, Kentucky, Yonda Romine of Portland, Gail Craig of Portland and Pam Jarvis of Columbus, Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Arnold presiding. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 – 4:00 PM. Memorials can be directed to the funeral home to help with expences.
