Michael O. Loy age 69, 1043 East 100 South Portland passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in Portland August 21, 1948 the son of Cleo and Beatrice (Coldren) Loy. He was married October 7, 1967 to Laura J. Schilling and she died April 30, 2013. He had worked for JaMar in Portland and owned Country Catering. He also was a fishing guide at Lake Cumberland and 1966 Portland High School graduate.
Surviving are his two daughters Tonja Smith (husband Kenneth) of Greenwood and Tami Kaufman (husband Rob) of Portland, Six grandchildren
There will be no services. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society or Jay County Humane Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
