McKinley "Kenny" Bullard age 56, 227 South Meridian Street Redkey passed away Tuesday morning at his residence. He was born in Portland January 22, 1961 the son of Carl and Cleda (Hicks) Bullard. He was a carpenter with Carpenters Local Union 1016, US Army Veteran and member of Dunkirk American Legion. He was a n avid outdoorsman enjoyin hunting, fishing, trapping and motorcycle riding.
Surviving are his companion Tori Ruiz of Redkey, his mother Cleda Bonvillan of Dunkirk, Daughters Alana Light (husband Rhett) of Hartford City, Brandy Lester – deceased, Keila Garcia of Des Moines, Iowa and Timara Ruiz of Indianapolis, sister Lana Hammers of Dunkirk, eight grandchildren, three nephews and ten great nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles from Redkey, Dunkirk and Tennessee. He also has a lot of brothers and sisters from all over the country that he considered family.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Marion Donathan presiding. Military funeral rites will follow by American Legion of Dunkirk. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
