Mary Brunson age 97, 704 West Seventh Street Portland passed away Tuesday evening in Swiss Village in Berne. She was born in Portland August 19, 1920 the daughter of Errol and Mable (Bush) Wilkinson. She was married to James "Bud" Brunson and he died in 1991. She had worked at Jay Garment in the shipping department. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and 1938 Portland High School graduate.

Surviving are one son Michael Brunson (wife Debra) of Portland, one daughter Karen Brunson of Gas City, two sisters Louverna Warren of Navarre, FL and June Cossell of Bowling Green, KY, one granddaughter Heather Fox (husband Tom) of Noblesville

Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Greg Rittenhouse presiding. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 – 12:00. Memorials can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church Joy Circle.
