Marjorie A. Stults age 85, 408 South Wayne Street Portland passed away late Monday evening at her residence. She was born in Winchester October 8, 1930 the daughter of Hugh Clifford and Virginia (Handford) Cole. She was married September 15, 1951 to Francis "Salty" Stults who survives. She was a homemaker and 1948 Winchester High School graduate. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Jay County Hospital Aux., Delta Theta Tau Sorority and charter member of Summer Swim Team for over fifty years.
Surviving are her husband Francis, one son Mike Stults (companion Tina Brenner) of Portland, Four daughters Mindy Kelly (husband John) of Anderson, Marcie Vormohr (husband Frank) of Portland, Maria Snow of Portland and Missy Bader (husband Christian) of Portland, one sister Nida "Tootie" Hummel of Winchester, brother in law Robert Beatty of Winchester, sister in law Norma Garringer (husband Joe) of Portland, Fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:00 A.M. In the Fountain Park Cemetery Chapel in Winchester. Pastor Darrell Borders will officiate. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Jay County Cancer Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
