Marjorie J. Miller age 85, 118 Pilgrim Drive Portland passed away Sunday morning at her residence. She was born in Dunkirk January 4, 1931 the daughter of Carl Anderson and Elizabeth Martz Anderson. She was raised by her mother and step-father Truman "Bud" Gutshall. She was married July 1, 1951 to Robert "Jay" Miller and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2014.
She was retired from First National Bank after 25 years. She was a 1948 Dunkirk High School graduate.
Surviving are two sons Ted Miller of Portland and Michael Miller of Eugene, Oregon. One daughter Sherri Miller of Strawberry, Arizona, Two brothers Duane Anderson of Florida and Galen Anderson of Beech Grove, one sister Joyce Fullhart of Muncie, Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Strietelmeier presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Memorials can be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
