Madonna L. Bright, age 97, of Portland, passed away Saturday August 3, 2024 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare.  She was born in Jay County on August 10, 1926 the daughter of Samuel and Cora (Stoner) Whitacre.  She was married to Ernest Bright Jr. and he passed away on April 14, 2013.  Madonna had worked for Loy Real estate and Auctioneering.  She was a member of American Legion Aux. and Moose Lodge.  She enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Surviving is one son Larry Miller (wife Teresa) of Ridgeville and several grand, great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are Thursday August 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Green Park Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Randy Smith presiding.  Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
