Lynda Anne Elzey, age 84, of Muncie passed away on Saturday April 1, 2023 at her home in Silver Birch of Muncie.  She was born in Anderson, Indiana on July 2, 1938 the daughter of Herman and Margaret (Wilson) Gray.   She was a homemaker and 1958 graduate of Redondo Beach High School in California.  She was an office manager and receptionist at various healthcare facilities and owner and operator of Brides to Be by Lynda in North Carolina.  She enjoyed bowling and was a caregiver by heart.

Surviving are her children Cindy Stowers of Muncie, David Stowers of North Carolina and Susan Moomjean of Pasadina, California, two step-sons Carl D. Elzey of Hartford City and Kevin L. Elzey of Andrews, Indiana, two sisters Kay Ellen Allen of Utah and Karen Louise Edwards of Muncie , Step sister Cheryl Cheatwood of Alabama and  step daughter Barbara Ann Elzey of Eaton, step brother Mike Gray of Alabama, half brother Donald Gray of Bakersfield, California.  She was preceded in death by husbands Jim Elzey and Mario Mariani Jr., step daughter Judy Faussett and sister Nancy Weibl

Funeral services will be Thursday April 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with burial in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant.  Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Thursday.  Memorials can be made to Little Red Door.
