Lula Belle Lawhorn age 81, 5353 West 500 North Pennville passed away Saturday evening in Miller's Merry Manor in Hartford City. She was born July 20, 1936 in Mason County, Kentucky the daughter of Belvin and Cora (Sellers) Davenport. She was married September 25, 1952 to Lloyd Lawhorn and he died November 14, 2006. She worked in quality control for Kerr Glass in Dunkirk. She was a member of Union Chapel Church.
Surviving are one son Michael Lawhorn (wife Kathy) of Dunkirk, three daughters Susan Brunson of Portland, Sharon Lawhorn of Pennville and Sandra Rollins (husband Robert) of Dunkirk, one brother Jimmie Davenport (wife Ann) of Dunkirk, Five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Union Chapel Church with Rev. Michael Morgan presiding. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church. Memorials can be made to Union Chapel Church.
