Linda A. Muhlenkamp, age 66, of rural Portland passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at her residence. Born in Arizona on December 6, 1955 she was the daughter of Russell and June (Study) Shawver. Linda was a school bus driver for Jay School Corp. and had been a cashier at Ludwig's Grocery. She was a 1974 Portland High School graduate and enjoyed bowling and horseback riding.

Surviving are one son Doug Muhlenkamp (wife Jeanine) of Fort Recovery, Ohio, one daughter Angela Ash of Berne, Indiana, former husband/companion Roger Muhlenkamp of Portland, one brother Steve Shawver of Portland, one sister Michelle Cline (husband Bryan) of Portland, Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Ashley Muhlenkamp.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Arnold presiding. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and Tuesday prior to the services. Memorials can be made to the Ashley Muhlenkamp Scholarship Fund in care of the Portland Foundation.
