Lew F. McKibben, age 64, of Portland passed away Friday September 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Portland on August 9, 1957 the son of Kenneth and Helen (Hess) McKibben. He was married on June 16, 1984 to Sherri Beck who survives. Lew had worked as a case worker for welfare and family and children services in Randolph County. He was a member of Portland Friends Church and a 1975 Portland High School graduate. Lew enjoyed antique restoration and was a antique and unique watch collector.

Surviving are his wife Sherri, one son Sean McKibben (wife Tiffany) of Muncie, two daughters Erin McKibben (boyfriend Aaron Moore) of Portland and Kyla Smith (husband Derek) of Muncie, three grandchildren Gracelynn, Tate and Daviia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday September 22, 2021 at 5:00 P.M. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Hummel presiding. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to Moody Bible Institute or Jesus Film Project.
