Levi W. Long, age 22, of Fort Wayne and former Portland resident passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. Levi was born in Muncie on January 22, 1999 the son of Michael Ethan Long and Shelly Denise Brown. He was a nursing student at IPFW in Fort Wayne. He was a 2017 Norwell High School graduate. He was a body builder and weight lifter and enjoyed baseball, music, movies, cats and his family.

Surviving are his mother Shelly Brown Baker (husband Gary) of Dunlap, Tennessee, brother Christian King of Portland, sisters Michaela Cox (husband Corey) of Portland and Madison Long of Portland, former step father Mark King of Portland, three nieces Maxwell Cox, Maggie Cox and Iris Cox. He was preceded in death by his father Michael Long.

Funeral services will be weld on Saturday August 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00 – 1:00 PM. Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
