Lesta Turner age 70, 727 East High Street Portland died Monday evening at her residence. She was born in Hartford City July 26, 1946. She was married May 5, 2011 to Wes Terner who survives. He had worked as a bar tender and was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW in Geneva.
Surviving are her husband Wes, one son Lester Lee Ball (wife Diane) of Salesville, Ohio, two daughters Elizabeth Bisel (husband John) of Bluffton and Michelle Storie (husband Mike) of Portland, three sisters Clesta Thomas (husband Don) of Hartford City, Francis Landis of Hartford City and Mary Taylor of Muncie, Sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Werst presiding. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Dunkirk at a later date. Memorials can be directed to the funeral home to help the family.
