Kevin Esparza, age 61, of Indianapolis and a Portland native passed away on Thursday December 11, 2025 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born in Portland on September 30, 1964 the son of Juan "John" and Edna (Hinshaw) Esparza. Kevin was a 1982 Jay County High School graduate.

Surviving are two sons Jordan Esparza of Indianapolis and Adam Esparza of Illinois, one daughter Hannah Esparza of Indianapolis, one sister Kim Hebble (husband Brian) of Albany and his companion Tony Russell of Indianapolis

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be made to Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland to help the family with expenses.
