Kay (Balle) Abdulah, age 66, of Portland passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2025 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  She was born in Portland on March 14, 1960 the daughter of Nickols and Jean (Walker) Balle.  She had worked for L J Stone. She was a 1978 Jay County High School graduate and a state finalist in Tennis doubles.  She attended Vincennes University, Indiana University and Ohio State University.

She is survived by a son Faisal Abdulah of Portland, one daughter Hannah Bricker of Portland, a sister Jackie Smith (husband Randy) of Portland, one grandson Colby Abdullah.  She was preceded in death by her parents Nickols and Jean Balle.

There will be private family services.  Burial will be in the Liber Cemetery.  Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
