Kathryn Davidson age 71, of rural Portland passed away Sunday March 24, 2019 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare. She was born in Randolph County December 15, 1947 the daughter of Ora and Leona Ruth (Zeiler) Potter. She was married September 1, 1972 to Orville Davidson and he passed on December 17, 2003. She was owner of Koffee Kup Diner in Portland and was chairman of Loblolly Days in Bryant for many years. She also served on the 4-H Council for many years.

Surviving are three daughters Sharon Shaw (husband Tim) of Lancaster, Ohio, Linda Heitkamp (husband Jim) of Bryant and Janet Emery (husband Rich) of Portland, two sisters Stella Hayden of Deerfield and Faye Current of Ridgeville,

Five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild

A memorial gathering for Kathryn will be held Saturday April 13, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Koffee Kup Diner in Portland. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
