Karen Champ age 78, of Redkey passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019 in Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. She was born in Hartford City May 21, 1941 the daughter of Byrle and Beatrice (Jones) Stigleman. She's benn married for twenty five years to Royce "Sonny" Champ who survives. She was a homemaker and a 1959 Redkey High School graduate.

Surviving are her husband Sonny, her mother Bea Stigleman of Redkey, two sons Greg Shatto of Michigan and Mitch Shatto of California, step-daughter Sunnie Marie Champ of Portland, three brothers Gene Stigleman (wife Ellen) of Redkey, Wendell Stigleman (wife Diane) of Fairview, TN and Mark Stigleman (wife Sheila) of Redkey, Eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Byrle Stigleman and a daughter Lou Ann Shatto.

Memorial services will be held Monday December 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Memorials can be made to the Randolph County Nursing Home. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
