Judy A. Votaw age 79 of Portland passed away Sunday evening September 23rd in the Jay County Hospital. She was born in Portland August 17, 1939 the daughter of Ole and Mable (Theurer) Lutz. She was married in 1957 to Jerry Votaw and he died May 10, 2010. She retired in 2000 from CTS in Berne. She was a member of American Legion Post 211 Auxiliary.

Surviving are three daughters Debra Baldauf (husband Dale) of Portland, Angela Ingram of Portland and Rhonda Votaw of Portland, Four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Greg Votaw.

Funeral services will be Thursday September 27 ^th at 11:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Dave McClellan presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Heart Fund.
