Judy F. Brandenburg age 72 former Portland resident passed away Sunday morning. She was born November 18, 1945 in Banner Springs, TN the daughter of Elbert and Velva Dalton (Miller) Cook. She was married January 3, 1990 to Dorwin Brandenburg who passed away March 9, 2012.. She had worked for Littler Diecast in Albany and retired from Borg-Warner in Muncie. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland.

Surviving are her son Danny Wright (fiance Jennifer) of Columbia, TN and a daughter Harvetta Wright-Mims (Husband Larry) of Anderson, Grandson Joshua Neal of Anderson, Niece Debbie Lee (husband Robert) of Monteray, TN and her children Justin and Nathaniel.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding. Private burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland are in charge of arrangements.
