Joyce Duke, age 64, of Portland passed away at her residence on Tuesday March 25, 2025.  She was born in Coldwater, Ohio on March 9, 1961 the daughter of Iary Wayne and Bettie Irene (Fifer) Nuckols.  Joyce was a 1979 Jay County High School graduate and had worked at J&R Manufacturing and FCC in Portland.

Surviving is one son Matthew Duke (wife Renee) of Fort Recovery, Ohio, one brother Sonny Nuckols (wife Cindy) of Farmland and two grandsons David and Justin.

Memorial services will be Saturday March 29th at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 AM.  Memorials can be made to the Jay County Humane Society.  Online condolences at www.bairdfreeman.com
