Joyce Belda, age 82, of Portland passed away Wednesday July 21, 2021 at Waters Edge Village in Muncie. Joyce was born in Hartford City on April 4, 1939 the daughter of Robert and Judith (Wilt) Gullett. She had worked at Jay County Hospital as a nurses assistant.

Surviving are two sons Jay Belda of Pennville and Jeff Belda of Portland, one daughter Jolie Craver (husband Lance) of Madison, Alabama, Four grandchildren

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday August 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Hospital Aux. Online condolences at www.baird-freeman.com
