John Riojas age 73 of Portland passed away Wednesday morning at Persimmon Ridge Healthcare. He was born October 29, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas the son of Incarnation and Angelita (Robledo) Riojas. He was married August 12, 1967 to Beatrice Esparza who survives. He had worked for Cedar Vining and was a Monroe Central High School graduate.

Surviving are his wife Beatrice, three sons John Riojas of Portland, Steven Riojas (wife Katrina) of Portland and Danny Riojas of Portland, one daughter Lydia Riojas of Portland, one brother Jesse Riojas of Ft. Wayne and one sister Mary Ortiz of Fort Wayne, Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Fr. Robert Moran presiding, Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the family.
