John L. Dull, age 74, of Portland passed away Monday December 6, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Portland on September 26, 1947 the son of Harry and Cora Imogene (Macklin) Dull. He was married on September 30, 2015 to Teresa Eggers and she passed away on December 26, 2016. John had worked as an electrician in Muncie. He served in the US Army and attended Evangelical Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons Shane Dull of Knoxville, Tennessee and Heith Dull of Baxter, Tennessee, one brother Stephen Dull of Redkey and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday December 10, 2021 at 12:00 Noon in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Hummel presiding. Burial will follow in the Claycomb Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 211. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 12:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
